Jesse forced to stop…

18 year old Jesse Zweig, who set out on Thursday at 2:50pm to run 200 miles to raise $20,000 for Children’s Hospital of OC, covered 124 miles before he was forced to stop Friday at 1:15am due to severe blisters and cold.
Full story here.

270 Miles

That was what my odometer read when I got home Saturday night.
My day started with my alarm going off at 5am, and I was out the door on my way down to RSM in OC to meet with the group for the last training run for TP 50/50. That was my first 70+ miles.I [...]

Karl Meltzer sets new 100k men’s course record (12:37)

Or if that’s a bit above your budget, I’ll settle for this one.

Don’t worry, I’ll take you for a [...]

Aloha!

Well, I did my last run before HURT yesterday — just a quick jaunt up the Wilson trail to first water and back. I feel good…more confident going into the race this time than last year. I don’t think I mentioned it in my race report, but I had a nagging pain in [...]

Where do you work?

Fortune Magazine just released the 100 Best Companies to Work for list — Google, surprisingly made their debut at #1 this year. Since I’m looking for work currently, I think this will be helpful, especially this list — pretty funny how the tech sector ends up at the bottom. Man, I’m in the [...]

(Nitro) Glycerin…Explosive! Or was it the cream in my mouth?

My good friends Rich and Anna of Glycerin performed at King King last night. I got there a bit early, so decided to walk down to Hollywood and Highland, since it had been a while since I’d been in that area. Not much has changed, other than a few nicer bars and restaurants [...]
