Seems like a lot of people don’t know that daylight saving time will be changing this year — the first time since 1966, thanks to the Energy Policy Act of 2005. Starting this year, clocks will be set ahead one hour on the second Sunday of March (instead of the first Sunday of April), and set back one hour on the first Sunday in November (rather than the last Sunday of October).

For most of us, this means we’ll get to enjoy longer days for a few more weeks, but for those of us in IT, we’ll be doing some extra work so that systems will remain operational. A good page for info can be found here.
