Spanish Expedition Race Begins Tomorrow
The Bimbache Extrem, a 450K expedition adventure race taking place near the city of Cordoba will start tomorrow. Winners are expected to finish in about 60-70 hours, with the slower teams taking as much as 100+. My friend Bernice Pierson is the captain of Feed the Machine, the only US team represented in this race.
The other teams to watch will be Buff-Coolmax of Spain, led by Emma Roca, Team Finland, winners of 2006, and Supplier Pipeline, 4th place PQ finishers.
