iPhone Review
[Update 7/10: just some more feedback since I've had it for a bit longer. See below]I’ve had mine for exactly 8 hours now, so can’t say that I know it well, or come across any issues, but here’s my feedback so far.
To sum it up — it’s worth all the hype, waiting (I personally didn’t [...]

Recovery with an Apple
So I get a phone call around 6:30 this morning from Leigh asking if I was going to the Mt Disappointment training run. Ummmm…no. I did go to my yoga class though, then on impulse, headed over to the Apple store afterwards to see what was going on with the iPhone.

Empty handed
If you were in line tonight to get an iPhone, you most-likely left the store without one. I just talked to the manager of the AT&T outlet next to the Starbucks where I am, and as of now, he has none — they were never shipped to him. He believes most stores are [...]

It’s almost time…
I have been waiting to do Western States for three years, and it’s finally only three days away! I finished a lot of my preparation yesterday — labeling, gathering my gear, unpacking stuff from OD that I haven’t gotten around to, etc. I’d like to say that I’ve become more efficient since I started using [...]

Anyone seen my wheels?
One of them you’ll find around mile 30, and the others are spread out between 50 and 80 somewhere. My original goal of 22 hours was out the window before noon, my second goal of sub-24 was still possible until I was part way up Sherman Gap (mile 75), but ultimately it became a [...]

Catra update (Mon 6/11)
Monday 6/11 @ 7:14A full write up on my meeting with Catra will follow. Just wanted to give an update on her location in case anyone wants to go and see her before she heads out to the desert. I left her at Islip Saddle last night, so she began heading towards Chilao this morning. [...]

Dipsea
Best of luck this weekend to all Dipsea runners — it won’t be the same without Jack Kirk.
